Here is exactly what Color Sudoku collects and why. In short: we collect anonymous gameplay data to improve the game; we do not collect your name, email or location.

What we collect

  • A randomly generated, anonymous player ID (it does not identify you personally).
  • In-game interactions: screens opened, buttons tapped, colors placed, mistakes, hint and undo use, time between actions, level results.
  • Device info: platform (iOS/Android), OS version, device model and type (phone/tablet), app version, language.
  • In-game economy: coins, hints and daily streak.
  • What we do not collect: name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising ID.

Why we collect it

  • To see which levels feel hard and where players get stuck, and to tune difficulty accordingly.
  • To find bugs, make the game smoother and more fun, and produce usage statistics.

Legal basis

  • Our legitimate interest in improving the game, without overriding your rights and freedoms.
  • Turn off Settings > “Share gameplay data” at any time; while it is off, no gameplay data is sent.

Storage and retention

  • Data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud, Europe region) acting as our processor.
  • Gameplay data is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or turned into anonymous statistics.

Sharing

  • We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Only our infrastructure provider (Google) processes it on our behalf.

Your rights

  • You can ask what data we hold and request correction or deletion.
  • Use Settings > “Delete my data” to create a deletion request; your server-side gameplay data is deleted within 30 days and progress on this device is reset.

Children

  • Color Sudoku is for players of all ages. We do not ask children for identifying information such as name or email; the data collected is anonymous gameplay data.
  • Parents can request deletion of their child’s gameplay data with “Delete my data” or by contacting us.

Changes and contact

  • If this policy changes, the last-updated date changes and important changes are announced in the app.
